Feldiken taught keyboard/guitar, and song writing. The first goal of all his lessons was for young people to enjoy themselves :} After that it varied between learning favorite songs by favorite artists, learning a variety of styles, or making up songs and working on them. With very young children (2-4) and beginners, sometimes it was just about how to handle the instrument and make sounds.
Feldiken found out a student's level, favorite music and goals. Then he thought about their needs to provide just the right challenge.
He taught students by ear. He helped students to find their own sense of discipline.
